BASIX is one of the most robust sustainable planning measures in Australia, delivering equitable and effective water and greenhouse gas reductions across NSW.
As of July 2007, a BASIX certificate is now required for all residential developments (including alterations and additions & pools greater than 40KL) throughout NSW with a total estimated cost of works of over $50,000.
